Cross Country Programs Traveling East for Major Meets
This weekend, the Cal and Stanford cross country programs will embark on their first of many trips to the East Coast as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Both schools will be competing in major invitationals in North Carolina.
Stanford Women Return to Battle in the South
The Stanford women, ranked No. 1 in the nation, will be competing in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Indiana. This meet marks a return to the Midwest for the Cardinal, who won the NCAA XC title in nearby Terre Haute last November.
Cal Men Look to Make Statement at Wake Forest
The Cal men, ranked No. 2 in the nation, will be competing in the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This meet is a rematch of the 2022 NCAA XC Championships, where Cal finished third behind Stanford and Northern Arizona.
ACC Competition Heats Up
These meets will be the first opportunities for Cal and Stanford to compete against their new ACC rivals. The conference is home to several top programs, including NC State, Virginia Tech, and Florida State.
Cross Country Powerhouses Face Off
